Assamese film Jangfaai Joonak (জাংফাই জোনাক), directed by Sanjeev Sabhapandit was released on 13th January 2012. This is the only Assamese film selected for the 42nd Indian Panorama of Indian International Film Festival. Shooting of the film is done for the 1st time through High Definition Sony Video Camera.
